About Coffeepot Canyon Grove

Coffeepot Canyon Grove is a six-acre grove in the Kaweah River Watershed region, situated between 5,800 - 6,039 feet elevation at 36.39881°N. It is managed by Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park and located in the upper Coffeepot Canyon, East Fork of the Kaweah River watershed. The grove is quite remote and can only be accessed by difficult cross-country travel. In 2024, the Coffee Pot Fire burned beneficially at low to moderate severity through the grove, but the area will likely need to be retreated in years to come to maintain wildfire resilience.
